Morning class : Vinyasa Yoga
The morning class combines guided breath-work, meditation and a series of postures. The sequence of postures may be different from class to class, but always follow an intelligent progression that moves from basic to complex, while maintaining focus on good alignment. Postures may be held for longer periods of time, and will flow together in a dynamic way. You will create strength, stability, and support for the spine and the whole body by syncing breath and movement. You will also find energy and flexibility while remaining present to body and spirit and finally find stillness with a long relaxation pose for the closing.

Working solo, duet or in ensemble, you will bring your attention separately or simultaneously to movement, voice and language and let your imagination take you on a ride, allowing stories, characters, poetry in motion and dream-like scenes to come to life. The improvisation exercises will help you to overcome inhibiting fears and free yourself from preconceived ideas and habits which prevent you from being yourself. You will become aware of sensations, feelings and moods passing through the body moment to moment. You will learn both to accept and to express them physically and vocally in your own individual creative way. The exercises will also help you to externalize the multiple aspects of your personality, especially the ones which are more difficult to reveal. You will then gain self-confidence, listen better, be more spontaneous, open to change and feel naturally at ease in a group.
